I (with Anton) have finished the Policy Manual based on what was passed at Congress 2015.
I have completed the in-house training package with Taylor based on Motion “Policy Manual – Inclusivity”, clause BIFRT: The ICE Chairs, Elizabeth Croteau & Taylor Standring, develop an in-house training package in inclusivity awareness and safe space concepts for the officer team, to be approved by the Board of Directors at Spring Meeting 2015.
My major projects this year were the inclusivity task force with Taylor, which included consultations, the ICE report, policy development, and the Inclusive Conference Planning Handbook; and the policy manual, which I reorganized with Anton.
I completed in the in-house training package with Beth based on the motion presented at Congress. The package is to be reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors this weekend as per the motion.
At an alumni event I connected with the chair of the NCWIE hosted at Western, which was the first to be hosted outside of Queen’s as CFES took over the conference. I will be connecting her with Kristina as she has told me she would be wiling to speak or present at CDE 2015.
This year I primarily worked on the inclusivity task force items with Beth, including the consultations and report, Inclusive Conference Planning handbook and the Incident Response Committee. In addition I completed the CFES Strategic Plan and the supporting documents for it.
