Student Development Program

CFES Student Development Program is a program to provide students with professional development opportunities and resources. The training program is created in the vision of CFES, to provide bilingual opportunities in support of an all-encompassing education for engineering students in Canada to become unparalleled professionals in their field. CFES sees that there is a need to provide students professional development opportunities and resources, complementary to their academic curriculums.

Combining these topics, the CFES Student Development Program currently offers 3 high-calibre open enrolment programs at three different levels:
• International event: Leadership Summer School
• National event: Trainer Certification Course
• Local event: Local Training Sessions

Different from ordinary training courses, the CFES Student Development Program is run by student trainers, encouraging peer learning to enhance participants’ learning experiences through various interactive exercises, debriefing and real-life practices.
