About Me

Nicolas is at third year student in Université Laval, in metallurgical engineering. He serves as CFES President for a second mandate and acts as Chair for the 2013 International Engineering Competition. In his spare time, Nicolas likes to play soccer, listen to music, dance, read, taste wines and scotches, watch tv shows and avoid studying. Nicolas is a direct and dynamic person, obsessed with efficiency and is always thrilled to meet new passionate people.

Direct CFES towards taking actions and initiatives. Increase awareness of members’ needs by reaching out. Attend regional meetings (AGM of WESST, CRÉIQ, ESSCO, ACES), if possible.

Increase the influence of CFES in front of Canadian engineering associations and increase its resources, such as finances. Establish a strong lasting channel between CFES and corporations. Establish a partnership with the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies (ACEC) to get their help in promoting activities of CFES to their members (over 500 corporations) and to try to get a financial benefit in the process.

Increase the financial income of CFES. Finish and launch the CFES partnership plan, and secure longterm partnerships.

Organize the International Engineering Competition. Work with Beakerhead to make IEC happen in 2013. Act as chair for 2013 IEC, in Calgary.
Put an organizing committee together.

Organize a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification course. Organize the first Lean Six Sigma student course at Université Laval.
