WESST Executive’s Meeting 2017 was recently held in early May. It was hosted by the University of Northern British Columbia in Prince George, BC. Executives from engineering societies across Western Canada gathered to share knowledge and expertise to prepare for their upcoming executive terms. From sessions on sponsorship and getting students involved to plenary, the weekend was full of learning and excitement!
Major updates from EM: the WESST Executive were mandated to conduct a survey on mental health of engineering students in Western Canada and to look into corporate sponsorship.
