The Engineering Change Lab Commissioner is a new position established in the 2018/2019 fiscal year. It is a two-year position and they are tasked with managing the relationship and cooperation between the CFES and the Engineering Change Lab, an initiative the CFES has partnered with that seeks to address and solve systemic challenges that the engineering profession is facing.
Hey folks, My name is Davyani Vasta and I’m your ECL commissioner! I really enjoy hiking and swimming, but beyond that, I’m really keen on student growth and development, therefore joining the CFES felt right. I started out in the engineering community as a VP Finance at MUN Engineering Society ‘A’ and am very excited to see how the experience of working as an ECL commissioner and, with such an awesome officer team is going to shape me.
Action Plans:
- Increase Engineering Change Lab awareness among CFES members by enhancing content integration, and making more impactful workshop experiences at conferences
- Establish a closer working relationship with other officer team members, who could benefit from ECL content and contacts.
