The Bilingualism Commissioner (BC) is charged with ensuring equal treatment and representation of the English and French languages, which serve as the two official and working languages of the Federation. They also work to promote bilingual culture beyond pure translation, and to develop initiatives that support bilingualism at CFES events. In addition, they chair the Bilingualism Working Group and Translation Committee of the CFES.
Hi all! I am a proud Acadian who grew up in the only officially bilingual province in the country, New Brunswick. In this role, I will have the chance to put my passion and experience to good use, which was gained through my community involvement where I represented young francophones in NB at various levels. I’m taking advantage of quarantine to start reading adventure novels again. Looking forward to making the CFES a more bilingual organization!
