The Atlantic Ambassador is responsible for facilitating communication between CFES and the members on the Atlantic Region. The President of the Atlantic Council of Engineering Students/Conseil Atlantique des étudiantes en génie [ACES-CAEEG] holds the role of Atlantic Ambassador and represents the Atlantic Region as a voting member on the CFES Board of Directors. The Atlantic Ambassador also assists the rest of the CFES Officer team with meeting federation objectives and special projects.
Howdy folks! I am originally from Moncton, New Brunswick and – propelled by my big head – quickly became too big for my britches upon arriving at UNB in Fredericton. While I first got involved in my EngSoc’s Events Team, I later served in the roles of VP Internal, VP External, and President. I am currently the CFES Atlantic Ambassador and cannot wait for the year ahead. I enjoy late-night study sessions with friends and free pizza. You can often find me in my school’s engineering library doing anything other than coursework.
Action Plans:
- Encouraging increased engagement between the CFES and Atlantic members
- Increasing information sharing and building relationships between member EngSoc’s.
- Ensuring Atlantic engineering students are able to fully participate in all CFES activities
