The Chairperson must provide an environment for all members to participate in the democratic process. That is, ensure confidentiality and unbiased enforcement of the rules governing the CFES.

The Chairperson shall also occasionally act as a resource while fulfilling their duties and is expected to maintain a working knowledge of, and act in compliance with, the pertinent documents.

Hello everyone, my name is Noah and I will be your guide this year to the wonderful world of policy and governance! This is my fifth year of CFES involvement, as I was VPX for USask twice, WESST Pres once, and I’m just coming off a term as a CFES National Councilor. I’m a huge nerd for policy and Robert’s Rules. The thing I love most about my years of involvement is when people are able to enjoy their time representing their school, society, or organization and also do crazy stuff in a General Assembly. As for non-CFES interests, I’m; endlessly rewatching Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Snowboarding, sleeping, working on building a PC, going on excessive road trips, and I also really like those 2 months when Saskatchewan is warmer than the rest of the country instead of colder. Hit me up for talks about anything policy, governance, or B99 related.

Action Plans:

  1. Make GA fun and accessible for everyone
  2. Get people pumped about policy
  3. Write policy
