CANADIAN ENGINEERING LEADERSHP CONFERENCE

The Canadian Engineering Leadership Conference is an annual, bi-lingual, student-run conference that has two primary objectives. The first is that CELC is the annual general meeting of the CFES and the second is that it provides a platform from which students can collaborate with and learn from our industry partners, sponsors and fellow students. Attracting between 150 and 200 delegates from over 40 engineering schools, CELC is a great opportunity to reach out and engage engineering student leaders from every institution and field of engineering.

Delegates attending the Leadership Conference are provided with a fantastic opportunity to meet with and learn from other student leaders and industry professionals. This national transfer of knowledge is invaluable, as it provides students with tangible, real-life examples and advice on how to improve their personal and professional skills, their engineering societies and their faculty as a whole. CELC boasts a wide range of speakers and topics ranging from professional presentations from our sponsors and industry partners to student led round-tables and panels that dissect the finer points of running student organizations.

Each year the privilege of hosting CELC is bid for and voted on by ambitious student leaders from across the country. Past conferences have been hosted in every corner of our great country. From St. John’s to Vancouver and everywhere in between, CELC is truly a national event.

The CFES strongly believes that Leadership Conference is an incredible opportunity for engineering students to expand their learning beyond the classroom and to provide the maximum possible benefit to themselves, their Engineering Student Organization and their Engineering Faculty.
