WHAT IS THE CONFERENCE ON SUSTAINABILITY IN ENGINEERING?

The Conference on Sustainability in Engineering (CSE) is an annual student-run conference at that year’s respective host school and is the CFES’ newest conference. CSE aims to raise awareness about issues in sustainability and environmental engineering, and encourage students to discuss and design solutions to counter them. No matter what engineering discipline you find yourself in, sustainable design is the way forward.

CSE educates and engages engineering students sustainability in their industry and how they can tackle it within their engineering career and everyday life. This is a unique opportunity for students to interact with other students across the country and put their minds together to critically analyze the past and current design norms, and think of more innovative and sustainable design solutions for the future, as the future generation of engineers.
